Each year Team Field day sets goals for the horses' competition season. We invite horse friends from various disciplines to join us on the journey. Last year, Field Day's Best Etiquette won IaDCTA and ITBOA Eventing Horse of the Year. This year, our goals include winning one or more Preliminary Level events, competing in the American Eventing Championships, the Area IV Championships and to compete in two long format (including steeplechase) events. These long format, classic events are "starred" events, so this year we are on the "Road to the Stars".

Meanwhile, we are delighted to have a rising star on the team.  Fabulouso (Elliott) is a 12 year old hanovarian gelding owned by Mrs. Susan Brigham, the one on the right, above.  He and I have completed two preliminary level events this spring, finishing 3^rd and 5^th in tough competition, a remarkable feat for his first experiences at the level.  Both Eddie and Elliott are qualified and prepared to compete for the American Eventing Championships and the Area IV Championships later this summer.
